New Member Application Process:
The membership application process requires initial approval and final acceptance at two monthly Board of Directors meetings. Your name and address will be published in our monthly news magazine, the Telltales. This process usually takes four to six weeks. Upon final acceptance, the Club Year Book containing the By-Laws, House Rules, Protocol Guidelines, and Membership Roster, together with Membership Cards and Name Badges, will be presented to you at a General Meeting.
You will be advised of your application progress and notified of acceptance.
The one-time initiation fee in the Westlake Yacht Club is $2,000.00. Membership dues are reviewed and paid annually, beginning October 1st. Changes in dues must be approved by a super majority of the Club membership. Currently annual membership dues are $625.00. Prorated dues are paid on final acceptance.
Please return this application with your check for $2,000.00, payable to Westlake Yacht Club. The Club will deposit your check in a Club account. This deposit does not constitute acceptance and, if your application is not approved or it is withdrawn, your initiation fee will be immediately refunded. The Club By-Laws are available for your review at the Clubhouse.
