WLMA has closed Westlake temporarily due to the Quagga Mussel threat.  They have taken the following steps...

• Established a Quagga Mussel Task Force
• Installed a temporary fence and gate across the launch ramp
• Working with local boat vendors to enlist their cooperation
• Notifying homeowners of the danger of placing infected boats in the Lake

The Summer Sailing Academy is open for registration.  There are 22 junior sailors registered presently.  The program is 50% full as of April 1.
