Westlake Yacht Club situated on beautiful Westlake Lake in the Heart of the Conejo Valley

Founded in 1969, Westlake Yacht Club is a private, member-owned club. Membership is open to everyone. WYC was the Southern California Yachting Association, Senior Class, Yacht Club of the Year in 1998.

DEVELOPMENT BEGAN IN 1968

Westlake Lake Management Association

In 1968, developer Mr. D.K. Ludwig formed and initially controlled Westlake Lake Management Association (WLMA), a nonprofit California corporation, with the ultimate goal of owning and managing the lake. In 1974, Ludwig turned over all membership and control of WLMA to area homeowners and a commercial property owner adjacent to the lake and transferred ownership of Westlake Lake to WLMA. Westlake Lake Management Association manages the lake and all rules and regulations are established and enforced by the association.

WYC is a private club owned and operated by its Members. Membership is open to everyone. Westlake Yacht Club was the Southern California Yachting Association, Senior Class, Yacht Club of the Year in 1998. WYC is an active member of the:

Welcome to Westlake Yacht Club

Westlake Yacht Club is a private club that welcomes members of other yacht clubs from around the world provided they have a current membership card from their home yacht club. A letter of introduction in advance of your visit is greatly appreciated.

All Clubhouse charges must be paid by cash or with a credit card at the time of service.
WYC is open only on Friday evenings, 5:30PM to 9:30PM with food available most Fridays.
Please check our Club Calendar for events at WYC.
Animals are not permitted on the property, unless required by law.
Contact the Vice Commodore to make advance arrangements.

Fleets at Westlake Yacht Club

Westlake Yacht Club is organized into fleets. Each fleet hosts events based upon that fleet’s special interest. Our unique setting on beautiful Westlake Lake provides a calm-water environment. The current fleets of WYC are:
